Prague!

Well I made it to Prague today! Yesterday was a good day, lots of class then a good pizza and soup dinner. Got to sleep pretty early (the internet was down in the hotel.) This morning we got up at 4:45 to meet a car that was picking us up to take us to the airport at 5:45. The flight was quick and easy, absolutely no troubles at all, and security was ridiculously relaxed which I found interesting. I left my shoes on AND left my liquids in my bag. When we landed, a car met us to take us to the hostel. Sir Toby's is amazing. Very quaint, cheap, and extremely friendly staff. Plus it feels extremely safe. We are in a good area with a secure main door which you need a code to get in. Our room is cute and only our group if 9 are in it whichis very nice. We have a locked door into our room and bag locks so I am definitely not concerned about my stuff (not like I brought anything important anyways.) When we got everything settled and took our first group pictures here, we bought tram tickets and head to the old city center. Prague is beautiful! The mix of art and architecture on every street is just amazing. We did a long free walking tour before stopping in a few stores and grabbing dinner. All we really had to eat was starbucks in the morning when we arrived and some bread from a bakery so we were pretty hungry. The restaurant was cute and had delicious traditional Czech style food. I think everyone really enjoyed it. Everyone is dead after waking up so early and walking so much so we are calling it a night early tonight. Tomorrow will be the night out on the town. I will try to post again tomorrow but I am using the free computers in the hostel which are extremely difficult to get a hold of so no guarentees. If not, I will be sure to add pictures and all the rest of the adventures when I return to Roma (where it is going to be 60 and sunny for the next 10 days unlike the freezing, snowy place I am now.) Buonasera!
